Our Mission

OnlyFormat was built because most free online converters fall into one of two traps: they either upload your files to a remote server (a privacy problem for anything confidential) or they ship surface-level "click to convert" widgets with no explanation of what actually happens to the bytes. We wanted something better — a toolkit that processes files entirely in the browser and backs every tool with a clear, technically accurate explanation of the format and the trade-offs involved.

Every conversion tool on OnlyFormat runs 100% client-side using modern web APIs — Canvas, WebCodecs, WebAssembly, pdf-lib, and FFmpeg.wasm. Your files never leave your device, which means complete privacy and zero risk of data leaks. There are no sign-ups, no daily limits, no watermarks, and no hidden fees.
